Here’s the official first look at the Lifetime biopic “Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B”.

A first snippet of the forthcoming new Aaliyah biopic ‘Aaliyah: The Princess Of R&B’ has been unveiled. 

The short preview shows actress Alexandra Shipp wearing Timbalands, baggy trousers, a crop top and Aaliyah’s signature dark sunglasses as she dances to the camera. 

Shipp is the second actress that was chosen to play the iconic singer with Lifetime’s first recruit, Zeyanda Coleman, dropping out after the show faced huge amounts controversy.

‘Aaliyah: The Princess OF R&B’ will premiere on Lifetime in the US on 15th November.
