Prince Harry Joins War Against Animal Poachers In South Africa

Poachers targeting animals has been an issue for centuries, but after stories about Cecil the lion hit the headlines, HRH Harry has decided enough is enough.
He’s thrown himself into night patrols with an army unit in Kruger Park nature reserve as part of the government’s anti-poaching initiative – Operation Corona.
Despite only arriving in South Africa last week, Prince Will’s little brother has already confronted three poachers.
In a shootout, one poacher was injured and rangers managed to recover a rifle and silencer.
Harry will work alongside other servicemen and women in the unit, using surveillance planes, drones and specially trained dogs to track down animal killers.
