What started as an operation in 1984 to disarm members of the ethnic Somali Degodia clan morphed into this massacre now recognised by the UN as the worst case of Human Rights Abuse in Kenya worse than the Post Election Violence of 2007/2008.
In Judy Kibinge’s documentary, the Wagalla victims recount horror of the dark days.
It is a reminder for us to reflect, to share and to heal.
