Wondering Why You Should Not Have Missed Koroga Festival Naivasha Love Edition?

This is how it went down

Headlined by Multi-award-winning Artist Diamond Platinumz, Koroga Festival 2020 Naivasha Love Edition, lived to its promise of being Kenya`s best Art and Music Festival.

The Artist Line up consisting Diamond, Khaligraph Jones, Hart The Band, Ochungulo Family, Mike Rua, and Nadia Mukami,  combined with a traveling opportunity to Kenya`s love town, Naivasha, on a stage set in Hells Gate, the fans got what they were yearning for, a fantastic experience.

The Festival is a celebration of African music, food, art and fashion brought to you in the form of a concert and fashion market. The Naivasha Love Edition was a partnership between Capital FM, Naivasha love Festival and The Hells Gate National Park.

The local youth were given the opportunity to showcase and sell their arts.

Day 1 of the Naivasha Love edition saw Nadia Mukami, Kenya`s newest top female artist open the performances of the day. She drove the fans crazy with her banger tracks, the sync with her dance crew and her sexy outfit.  Her ability to connect with the older audience and the gengetone artist also gave her an advantage over her competitors.

Ochungulo Family were next on stage and as expected, did what they do best; entertained the crowd with their street anthem bangers and odi type dances.

Next on stage was the best rapper in Africa, the O.G himself, Khaligraph Jones who electrified the stage with his international hits and energetic performance. He proved once again why he is the undisputed King Of Rap with his flow, punchlines and sing-along choruses. Hit after hit, word for word, the crowd sang along.

Hype man Gudah Man and his team Genje kept the energy levels at a high by keeping the crowd on their feet with their electrifying moves.

Day 2, the highlight of the event.

The event was filled to capacity, with parking spaces running out.

Mike Rua, cemented his position as The King Of Mugithi Genre when he opened the night with his one-man-guitar tunes which were irresistible to the Naivasha crowd and they could not help but sing along.

His love songs particularly hit with the couple audience.

Then entered Hart The Band, Kenya`s most beloved boy band. The fashion conscience group was clad in classic suits that drove the women crazy with their songs being sung from start to finish by the crowd of different ages.

Hype man Goodah Man then took the stage to warm up for the headliner of the festival, the man the crowd had been waiting for all night.

Entered Diamond Platinumz AKA Simba…

Earlier on during the press briefing, he had promised to give his best performance at Naivasha since he loves Kenya and considers this his second home

The crowd went crazy as the King of Bongo graced the stage with his elegant dancers. He was shirtless, clad in a blue suit. His Dancers wore the red and white outfits from his banger hit video “Tetema”.

Simba made history in Naivasha by giving arguably the best performance ever by an international artist on Kenyan soil. Hit after hit, he kept them coming hour after hour. The choreography with his team was energy-packed throughout his performance. The crowd kept dancing until the very end.

By the end of his performance, Diamond had given the crowd what he had promised and even more.  The crowd however still wanted more thus Gudah Man and Dj Protégé took to the stage as the attendees made their way out of Hells Gate.

Without a doubt, this was the best Koroga yet.
